M-Tool ™Launch your project management skills |
M-Tool is a project management training simulator that offers a cost-effective alternative to the predominant project management training practices employed by leading corporations. By providing the opportunity to experience a live project scenario in a safe environment, the simulator teaches how to successfully plan and manage projects so they are delivered on time and under budget.
According to the Project Management Institute 74% of all projects either fail, or miss original objectives (budget or deadline). Each year $75B is spent on failed projects. Historically, organizations have failed to realize the importance of a highly skilled experienced project manager on staff. This fact is gradually changing. During 2006 US companies spent $600M on project management training. Project management training spending is expected to grow at the rate of 10% a year.
M-Tool is a Game Based Learning (GBL) program that integrates game with learning process and provides a way to increase learning effectiveness by encouraging the participant to try different approaches, make mistakes and learn from his experience. The use of games in training and education has proved as extremely effective in recent years by various researchers in the US and Europe.
M-Tool is a fun, highly engaging, customizable, simulated project environment that teaches people how to successfully plan out and manage projects so that they are delivered on time and under budget.
